First Impression

Last Sunday, I went to Röhsska museet to see Carl Bengtsson’s fashion photography exhibition. I’m not sure if it was that I got there a half hour before closing and had to rush through the experience, but I wasn’t blown away by it. I didn’t connect to his art but that’s just the way it is with art, it’s personal.

However, I read an article about it after I had gone to see the exhibition and I feel that I should give it another chance, and get there on time. His photography is described as being soulful and melancholic – a celebration of the model.
